Any time I see a sheriff or Chief of police wearing all those stars I immediately think of them as arrogant, incompetent morons. You can't even trust your car to the man who wears that many stars.

ReplyDeleteMy son, a sheriff's deputy, informs me that in Florida there's kind of a law enforcement color code.
ReplyDeleteBlack -> city police
Green, brown, white -> county police or deputy sheriffs
Black and Tan -> State troopers.
He's also mentioned that on occasion, while chasing someone thru "da hood" at oh dark thirty, that he wasn't wearing a bright white shirt.
