But Justin Amash offers no solution.  And running without a credible chance at victory will just tip the scales.

    Amrica has two “permanent” parties for the same reason that car dealers cluster together in one spot: because game theory proves that any other arrangement disadvantages mavericks who don’t follow the herd behavior. In the case of parties, it’s our “winner take all” nonpreferential voting rules that perpetuate it.
