The whole “weapons who kill” thing is interesting to me.
I have had a dozen guns in my office and on my desk for 25 + years and they have never gone after anybody. I have been watching and I have not even noticed the slightest developing animosity amongst them and I have never sensed that they were conspiring behind my back to take over the place
If it were up to them, they’d probably just lay there while the place was robbed without lifting a hammer in defense
But I do have my eye on them should the situation change
