Now everyone settle down and let's approach this in the spirit of compromise. If "endowed by our Creator" bothers you, there's a secular "inherent to the condition of being human" alternative you can use. And as for an AR-15, yeah, a fair reading would say that's a bit limited for intended purposes and a minimum of "in common use at the time" M4s should be encouraged, at least until upgrades in capability are available.

    Based on how well he did running The Weekly Standard I'm somewhat reluctant to take his advice on anything.
