Another Way of Trolling

I insist comments stay on topic here where I can control things.

Where I can't, I'm seeing an increase of comment posters throwing out something completely unrelated to the topic being offered for discussion resulting in no shortage of the distracted chasing after it. Seeing the same people doing it time and again makes me wonder if infiltration, disruption, and redirection are the real reasons some of them are there.

  1. Here too? The politics and politics-related boards on the *chans have been under assault 24/7 for months by mysterious people who seem to like to:

    1. flood the boards with lots and lots of irrelevant, off-topic threads, some of them just a few words of gibberish, which has the effect of pushing on-topic threads to the bottom and off the active board
    2. post off-topic garbage, some of it, again, literal gibberish posts, to run up the post counts on active on-topic threads, run them up past the "bump limit," which pushes them to the bottom and off the active board
    3. post deliberately inflammatory, obvious troll threads, usually but not always completely off-topic, with short clickbait titles, hoping that board regulars will ask for clarification, argue among themselves, etc., which has the effect (once again) of pushing other threads to the bottom and bumping them off the bottom of the active board. This specific tactic is called a "slide thread." More here: https://i.4pcdn.org/pol/1491288285483.png

It is known that ShareBlue and Correct the Record are behind most of this, and it is George Soros and Michael Bloomberg who bankroll them. They are going all out right now. They blame the *chans for Hillary's defeat in 2016 ("but it was HER TURN! reeeeeeeeeeeeee!") and they're absolutely terrified of a second Trump term. They have been infiltrated and their documents posted publicly:

It's also very well known that the Chinese government hires hundreds of thousands of paid "wu mao" trolls, not all in China, to monitor Western political forums and spam and garbage-flood them to DDoS them when they are found to criticize the Chinese Communist Party. They also constantly post CCP propaganda and pro-CCP talking points. They use all the above tactics, plus accusations of "conspiracy theories," and are generally pretty readily recognizable by their very poor English.

tl;dr yes, the Enemy have noticed us. They can't meme, so they're trying to jam the signal and bury our information in a flood of gibberish, lies, and propaganda in order to silence us.

But you can't stop the signal.

More then likely; "if infiltration, disruption, and redirection are the real reasons..."
While it takes extra effort to post here, I understand why.
