The President is blatantly urging his supporters to congregate at polling places, go inside, and ostensibly harass and intimidate voters. [More]
Oh, look, a new talking point!
Citizens have the right to watch for irregularities while they are there and report them to poll workers. I can't speak for all states, but here in Ohio:
Persons Checking the Official Precinct Voter Registration List - Any person may enter the polling location for the sole purpose of checking and taking notes from the Official Precinct Voter Registration List that is posted at 6:30 a.m. and updated at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Such persons may not wear any campaigning clothes or accessories and may not interfere with or disrupt the election.
I recall doing the same thing in CA when I was working on a pal's campaign for state assembly. In that way, we were able to ID delinquents and light a fire under them to get them to the polls.
Herring just invited angry confrontation with everyone who is doing that.
