I hadn't heard it before. I always liked Fogerty's stuff in college and still don't grok why Creedence couldn't resolve their disputes. Anyway, it's a good enough tune, but the lyrics bring out the same reaction in me as previously noted: Relying on heroes to save us is a cowardly abdication of our responsibilities.

What we need are a million "gunslingers," starting with the ones that stare back at us from the mirror.
