Missing an Important Distinction

I take exception with the "modern era" finding "that relative black homicide rates increased with relative black gun ownership." [More]

Ownership is a legal and moral term. I submit that a comprehensive study will reveal that the majority of guns used in such homicides are possessed, but not owned. 

When even "our side" doesn't get that, it lets "their side" group all of us in with the aberrations.
