Today's 'Stop the Steal' Aggregator

As per established practice, due to volume precluding individual posts, this will be updated as new tips come in. And as I always urge, look at all allegations with an attitude of healthy questioning and evidence testing.

* This has been my greatest fear in recent days -- that her claiming "biblical" revelations would turn out to be a bust. I have absolutely no faith in Rudy, who I consider to be IS a self-serving statist idiot.

  1. I was concerned about this as well, but comments over at LegalInsurrection have somewhat assuaged my fears. Powell is General Flynn's lawyer -- she has never worked for Trump, and has said so from day one.
A commenter points out: "The Trump Campaign has a financial agreement with the RNC. The RNC is shrieking because where Sidney is going implicates Republicans too. The RNA does not want to pursue any line of litigation that would do that."
Another points out that Powell doesn't need standing until she is prepared to file. At that point, she can make an arrangement with any Republican elector to represent them, and have standing.

  2. The idea that any president would refuse to step down being an OMG! What will we do! OMG! ... is the stupidest thing on the face of the earth.

Unless the military leaders decide to have a coup and appoint said president as leader, what the actual f*** do all these panty wetters think is going to happen?

As soon as a new president takes the oath of office its over for the president that refuses to go... the nuclear codes are all changed, he is no longer commander in chief, he has absolutely no power what so ever. At most all he could do would be to be a squatter in the White House and that could be easily solved by simply having the capitol police escort him out.

There is no there there. The peaceful transition of power is not dependent on the sitting president deciding to allow it or not. So contrary to the linked article... yes, the founding fathers did in fact prepare for a president that refused to step down.
