A Personal December 7 Day of Remembrance

My father, John Codrea, turned 21 on Pearl Harbor Day. He joined the Marines and served on Guam. Dad died in 2012 and was interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

  1. I grew up around WWII vets like your Dad. For me, they personified courage and honor, two qualities that seem in scarcity today.

This Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is particularly poignant, for the People's Republic of China has delivered 100 Pearl Harbors to the US over the last year. The death toll of Americans due to the Chinese Communist cover-up of Covid-19 is now over 100 times that of the Japanese attack of Dec. 7, 1941. I don't hear any American politicians speaking about taking even minor steps, such as doubling the tariffs on Chinese goods and using that money to offset Covid-related expenses. Only Donald Trump said he would make the Communist Chinese pay - and he was "defeated" by Beijing Joe using Chinese dark money. His Fraudulency Chairman Joe will reward China instead.
