It Depends Upon What the Meaning of the Word 'Victory' Is

The president's lap around the Daytona International Speedway was a victory lap for gun-toting, Bible-clinging, flag-waving patriots. [More]
Well, you got two out of three.

And it's throughout NASCAR.

A Right Delayed

It was apparent that the police had the wrong man, but Carpenter was in for his biggest shock yet. The Sherriff’s office told Carpenter he had to surrender his guns. [More]
And now this citizen has to wait until Aug. 27 "to start the process of getting his firearms rights back"?

And the same people behind that at the Florida Agriculture Commission also have close ties to the Ban Assault Weapons Now petition effort?

Would this be good cause to press DOJ about 18 U.S. Code § 241, Conspiracy Against Rights charges against anti-gun Nicki Fried if she does not clear this up immediately as she could if she wanted to?

We could ask...

UPDATE:
UPDATE:

I was sent a news tip to a Gateway Pundit article dated Feb. 16. That, in turn, cited a Feb. 4 Fox 13 Tampa report as it's primary source. I prefer giving links to those who actually dig out the story, which turned out to be an AmmoLand writer and did not notice the date on his original report was from Aug. 2019.

Ghislaine Maxwell didn't kill herself, either. [More]

And neither did Randy Andy.

It Depends Upon What the Meaning of the Word 'American' Is

Joe Biden: DACA Recipients Are ‘More American Than Most Americans Are’ [More]
Add "Central" and it's tough to argue with him.

The guy's desperate and in denial. He's not gonna be "it" and he's facing irrelevance within his own party.

That's a Lot of 'Common Sense' Trigger Locks!

Twitter comment in re my Batman gun symbol piece:
Honestly, I thought it was a pair of batarangs. The whatever they are have belt clips on both of them. What gun has that?
He's got a point. That said, I'm commenting on what others are reporting and I've seen my reply hold true more times than I can remember:
One designed by Hollywood "artists" with more agenda than knowledge?
Is this where I say "I rest my case"?

The last time I referred to the Superdickery site, coincidentally enough, involved Batman.

Enforce Existing Intolerable Acts?

When looking for something else I ran across an old WoG post from 2006 where I posited this question and I just decided to run it through the Meme Generator.

First They Came for the Fudds

Once again I reiterate the taxpayers of East Lansing have to pay for the killing of the deer instead of hunters paying for the opportunity to do so.  It sounds exactly like “good government” to me. [More]
And if you don't need to hunt, what do you need guns for?

Besides, save your sympathy for the Only Ones unglamorous enough.

Yankees slugger Brett Gardner has reportedly asked a Bronx judge to keep a crazed fan — who calls herself the baseball player’s “future wife” — away from him and his family. [More]
She counter-filed. Hey, #BelieveWomen, right?

Right?

Yes, naturally, she's a "progressive feminist" and an immigrant:

Knowing how easy it is for such "domestic terrorists" to get banned from Twitter, it's fair to ask why the feed of someone with a restraining order who cyberstalks her victim is still up.

"I certainly have changed on that issue," he added. [More]
Well, yeah. When a swindler sees his pitch is failing, he modifies it to what the rubes want to hear.

Being a communist who will ultimately demand totalitarian power, this just forced him to accelerate the schedule a bit. The lust for power and control is the only constant.

I'd Want to See a Cost/Benefit Trade-off Analysis

Kaitlin Bennett vows to return to Ohio University with an ‘army of gun owners for an open carry walk’[More]
She can do it.

The question of "Should she?" may be a matter for debate, but ultimately she and her colleagues will make that decision. Some gun owners are concerned that the optics of the tactics and the potential for blowback will result in perceptional and political setbacks. The thing is, this is a new generation that sees the "old ways" have resulted in messes like Virginia. They are asserting they won't accept that-- and put themselves on the line to do it.

My only caution -- she is a dynamic personality and most of the promotional efforts seem centered on that. Since we are all flawed, I  urge we set that aside and decide the proper course for what we want to achieve based on an objective analysis of the specific goals, pros, cons, and alternatives.

Make that a condition of standing with anyone on anything.

Go Ahead. Be Evil.

The gun guy and illegal militia founder who became President: George Washington - Our first President understood that armed citizens are essential to American freedom [More]
And he approved of them having "weapons of war"?

I guess that's another reason why his memory has to be smeared and then forgotten.

Militia rights, duties, and powers "being necessary to the security of a free State" is a key legal concept that has yet to be fully explored.

If You Like Your Death Panelist You Can Keep Your Death Panelist

“If You Show Up with Cancer and You’re 95 – We Should Say We Can’t Do Anything” – Bloomberg Explains How Healthcare will Bankrupt Us Unless We Deny Care to Elderly [More]
What about 94?  84?  I've known people much younger who were wrecks. Mike was pretty much beyond repair at 64. Another good friend burned his heart out at 53.

A local woman died a few years back at 111. She had many vital and active years ahead of her after 95 and was loved by many in the community. My own Mom is 95 and she is still alert and active, often walking up to two miles each day when the weather permits. My Dad passed at 92, and up to age 88 was still golfing his age (as compared to me golfing my weight).

The point being, arbitrary cutoff ages are as meaningless as automatically giving the vote to 16-year-olds on one hand because they'll vote for "gun control," and then denying them the right to own guns because the current "science" says their brains aren't fully developed yet.

I've always been careful (and consistent) to recommend parents provide development-appropriate gun training for their children, as opposed to age-appropriate.

Ecclesiastes 9:12 comes to mind. That this megalomaniacal usurper thinks he not only knows the time but can control it tells us all we need to know about him and the fanatics he attracts.
