Temporary Reprieve

So the law denying rights to young adult citizens can't be enforced until the case is settled? But they still think prior restraints against all aren't infringements? I'd feel better if the judges had written "What is this s***?" and ordered "Col." Settle into stocks where the public could pelt him with eggs,

We're the Only Ones Going Ballistic Enough

“We’ve seen an increase in the amount of gunfire, as well,” Maj. Jorge Aguiar said, while showing Local 10 News some firearms that have been confiscated. “Some of those are high-powered rifles, which they indiscriminately shoot, and they have longer distance where they can discharge, so that bullet is blind when it leaves that barrel.”[More]

Are they as heavy as 10 boxes, do they have shoulder things that go up, and can they cook a deer? And don't get me started on 30 magazine clips!

Where do they get these dolts, and who decides to put them in charge?

Red Alert- UPDATE: MAJOR CORRECTION

This is what comes up when I try to access Vox Day's site, which I'm told contains Wikileaks files pertaining to an FBI sniper in Vegas. With the caveat that I have absolutely no idea if there is even a shred of truth in that, I find it more than curious that this warning is discouraging us from proceeding.

Is it legit or is someone scaring us from going forward because they don't want the information to escape? If so, welcome to the Streisand effect, meaning expect the site to go down quickly.

Correspondent Matthew L tells me he can access the site without problem using Safari on his phone and that Day " has asked users from other countries to send him screenshots of the red screen." Matthew also says that we can get Wikileaks stuff from their site, but I have no idea what file names to look for.

Again, I'm not trying to lend credence to something I'm in the dark about and find the hint of such allegations without proof irresponsible. The question becomes is there any and how credible and verifiable does it appear? The main reason I'm suspicious enough to even raise this here is that I myself have found and reported on disconnects and coverups that just don't make sense unless the FBI, under DOJ orders, has been managing information for reasons that are classified.

I don't have the skillset to navigate past the warning and deal with any bad repercussions so I'm not going to try. If you have such knowledge, feel free to educate us all in "comments."

UPDATE: Talk about a false alarm. The bit about Vegas was ML asking if this is what it might be about and I misinterpreted his question to mean that it was. I am really sorry for getting everybody worked up over that.

I just addressed getting things wrong and having to fess up to it earlier today.

Don't Let the Door Hit You in the...

Michigan Republican Rep. Paul Mitchell told CNN that his disgust and disappointment with President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the election have led him to request that the clerk of the House change his party affiliation to "independent." [More]

Speaking of disgust and disappointment, I'm trying to square a politician who says "the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun because in my opinion, gun control laws simply limit citizens, limit law-abiding citizens" with someone who won't fight to his last breath against Biden unleashing his treasonous citizen disarmament agenda.

In other words, he knows what will happen. And he's actively undermining efforts to stop it.

So can I take it that " Paul has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting our right to self-defense!" didn't extend to when the going got tough?

Thing is, as an "independent," he'll be able to split the vote enough so no Republican will win the seat, and give it to the Dems.

Anybody know if donors have ever won lawsuits, singly or class-action, to get their money back? Hell, I'm wondering if they could take some of his campaign literature in which he IDs himself as a Republican and file a criminal mail fraud complaint...

A New Record

The two deaths are Petersburg’s 21st and 22nd homicides of the year. The city set a record of 21 homicides in 2019, a year in which Petersburg recorded the highest per capita murder rate in Virginia, with 67 killings per 100,000 people. The city ranked far above even Richmond, which ranked third in the state with 29.5 killings per 100,000 people. [More]
