  1. Old joke about a peasant, a donkey, and a priest. I won't bore you with the whole joke just the last few lines:

    The priest grabs a large piece of wood and smacks the stubborn donkey across the top of his head. The peasant chuckles and says, "That's great, Padre, but what about the kindness, gentleness and respect part?"

    The priest replies, "My son, first you must get their attention."
