Will "hand counting" include validation? What kind?

    From the senate press release:

    "This audit will be broad and detailed: the team will include, but is not limited to, testing the machines, scanning tyhe ballots, performing a full hand count and checking for any IT breaches.

    i.e.: NOTHING about validation.

    Democrats want to count every vote.

    Republicans want to count every vote legally cast by a citizen of The United States of America.
