George Floyd’s Friend and ‘Key Witness’ in Chauvin Trial Invokes 5th Amendment, Declines to Testify [More]
If he could incriminate himself, why should he? Especially since I would expect all the pressures and incentives from within his community put a priority on maintaining outrage?
All this aside, including the drugs and the dispute over cause of death, why would you kneel on a proned-out and handcuffed man's neck? With your damn hand in your pocket?

As to the hand in pocket, my guess is he had it on his back-up gun - ready to shoot anyone who interfered with them.
ReplyDeleteNumber one, Floyd's "Friend and key witness" was his dealer, and was a prosecution witness (go figure). If Chauvin gets exonerated because it was the dealer's drugs that killed Floyd, he's up for Murder 2. His decision to clam up now certainly makes the prosecution look bad.
ReplyDeleteNumber two, why would you kneel on a proned out and handcuffed man's neck? Because that is exactly how the City trained you.
