It looks like plenty of people want the sign to remain and the bellyaching, totalitarian-enabling, bluenosed harridans to go away.

    We had the same astroturf "social pressure" wielded against a "Hillary for Prison" billboard here a couple years ago. Tack taken was "we're a tourist town and we don't want to exhibit divisiveness or offend tourists." Billboard owner backed down, more's the pity.
