So Legally It's 'Fake News'?

A Court Ruled Rachel Maddow's Viewers Know She Offers Exaggeration and Opinion, Not Facts:  "Maddow’s show is different than a typical news segment where anchors inform viewers about the daily news," an Obama-appointed judge ruled. [More]

 Let's see what her employer claims:

“The Rachel Maddow Show” features ... stories no other shows in cable news will cover ... The Rachel Maddow Show has won three Emmy Awards including for Outstanding News Discussion and Analysis[and] received in total six Emmy nominations including for Outstanding Host – News Program – Individual Achievement (2009), Outstanding News Discussion and Analysis (2011, 2017 and 2018, 2019) and ... two Gracie Allen Awards including Outstanding Host – News/Non-fiction in 2012. “The Rachel Maddow Show” has been nominated twice by the Television Critics Association for the “Outstanding Achievement in News and Information” category..."

And her cable "news" ratings are tops.

The legal contortions the judge went through rival those attributed to Marilyn Manson in the "rumor" about why he had a rib surgically removed. And you'll have to find that link on your own.
