It is long past time to understand that we have no friends on the Hill, that in fact it is not our Hill, but a separate territory from which our betters issue proclamations, decrees and edicts with not a thought to ethics or to the founding documents.
Maybe one day a rump force of traditional Americans will 'cross the Potomac' and clean house...not in my remaining lifetime.
