Garfield man sentenced to 2 years in federal prison after building a red, white and blue cannon in his garage [More]
He obviously had no malicious or furtive intent with a soda CANnon. Now how is his mother going to get by?
What kind of evil bastards would destroy people over this?

Hmmm, 2 years for a 'soda cannon' whatever that is.
ReplyDeleteLets go for a mountain howitzer and see how that works out.
Glad I got rid of that piece of well casing with one end capped & the oxy-acetylene tanks 25 years ago.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone been able to find a photo of this illegal cannon? (I haven't yet.) Was it muzzleloading black powder, or what?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a potato cannon to me; those are legal (unless some "law" banned them). What's the difference? What made this a "destructive device"? Gunpowder instead of cooking gas? But it's legal to buy a muzzleloading cannon - always has been, regardless of what President Potatohead has claimed.
