    When I hear "negotiation" I translate as "it's a done deal" since negotiation only goes one way.
    And that involves CONservative Rs rolling into line.

    Oops, forgot Mr. Cornyn who will happily vote for cloture, then posture that he opposed on final.
    After all, in his milieu every cockeyed subversive scheme deserves a full vote even if he could have blocked it at cloture.
