US Attorney General Merrick Garland has instructed the FBI to mobilize against parents who oppose Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Covid mandates, citing ‘threats ... Curiously, Garland’s letter didn’t actually specify any credible threats. [More]
Maybe that's what makes "the biggest terror threat" so dangerous: They could do anything.
That they haven't is beside the point. There are people to intimidate and initiatives to abort.

We all need to be talking about this.
ReplyDeleteAnd that includes Virginia GOP candidates.
Pretty much what I've been thinking.
ReplyDelete"... disturbing spike in ... threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff...."
As Wikipedia says, "[citation needed]".
If Right-leaning parents were issuing violent threats against school boards and teachers (and teachers' unions), the DSM would be all over it. It would be headline news across the country for weeks.
So why is this order from the AG the first I've heard of it?
I have seen threats of violence on this issue. The threats are consistently issued against concerned parents, and consistently come from CRT-supporting Leftists.
Another example of the old observation: Any accusation from the Left is actually a confession.
(Also, it's revealing that school admins are seeing "harassment" and "intimidation" when concerned parents ask hard questions and demand answers -- in a public forum designed to let parents ask questions and get answers. Because that's just the type of civic engagement that needs to be labelled as "domestic terrorism", amirite?)
