But seriously, folks, what would happen if the Second Amendment were repealed? Would we lose our RKBA? SCOTUS rule on that in 1876. I know you're all sick of me bringing up US v Cruikshank. How many of you have bothered to look it up? If we wouldn't lose RKBA, what would happen?
Jefferson gave us a few clued in the Declaration.
"That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
IOW, by repealing the Second Amendment, the Government of the United would have taken action that, per Jefferson, would invite its own destruction.
