ReplyDeleteHow do we - I live 40 miles south of Beverly Hills - convey the seriousness - the deadly seriousness - of the right of self-defense in such a manner that it is embraced? That asked, only 5% - at most - will actively take such serious steps to both arm and train themselves. They are the low hanging fruit. The issue is - how do we persuade 60% - 3 out of 5 - of the remaining 95% to support self-defense, to embrace concealed carry, weapons training and so on? As a white suburban, I find it easier to explain this to blacks in the inner city than to urban whites. The former see crime often, sometimes daily, while the latter watch fantasy on Netflix.
