Six groups, offering to pay the city up to $50K to remove the statue. Instead, the city paid cultural vampires $980K (a suspiciously-structured sub-$1M figure) to remove and destroy it.
No, nothing political or corrupt about any of this. Just good stewardship of yur tax money.
When I read about this atrocity, I thought about Robert Patrick in Judgement Day.
