Tulsi Gabbard blasts political leaders for considering nuclear attack on Russia [Watch]
Last night I watched a really well-done albeit left-slanting satire about another time highly-placed incompetents and fools tried to take on Russia. That period and conflict fascinate me and it recalled for me one of my favorite fictional accounts of the campaign by one of my favorite novelists. Coincidentally, the night before I found another film I'd been meaning to watch for years, and Flashman fans will know why.
Anyway, back to the point at hand: Too bad Tulsi doesn't have her head screwed on right about guns.
And doesn't she know who her fellow Democrats have the nukes reserved for?

Here's another perspective of "taking on Russia" told from the first person perspective of one handed the job of doing just exactly that by people who should have known better.

Because Guderian served almost exclusively on the eastern front, he's not very well known to Americans. But he was one of the few people who were able to pound on one side of Hitler's desk while Hitler was pounding on the other and not only survive, but get a new level of Knight's Cross created as enticement to keep him from quitting.
He's also, as far as I know, the only Wermacht officer to have been mentioned in a pop song.
