Greg Gutfeld (I think) reminds us that "sex offender" is already a euphemism, and that it made more sense in the old days when he was a kid and we identified them by their specific crimes: flasher, rapist, child molester. "If there were several of these individuals in the neighborhood, it allowed us to make judgments about which walking routes home would be more or less safe than others."
