Secret Service Says ‘No Record Found’ in Hunter Biden Gun Investigation

“In response to your FOIA request, the Secret Service FOIA Office has conducted a reasonable search for all potentially responsive documents. The Secret Service FOIA Office searched all Program Offices that were likely to contain potentially responsive records, and no records were located.” [More]

Here's the government's response to my FOIA. If it turns out they are withholding information, as witness statements indicate, Hunter won't be the only lawbreaker.

Law Enforcement Mum on Montana Gun Confiscation Story

In today’s highly charged environment, with justifiable fears of gun confiscations, “red flag laws,” and the like being enforced against gun owners who have committed no crimes, it should be in the interests of all parties to be transparent with charges and counterclaims. That much can be done without jeopardizing cases. Instead, a climate of fear is made inevitable by remaining closed-lipped, and that only makes everything more dangerous for everyone. [More]

And also note the big, embarrassing error I did not notice until after this was published.

Sorry, Once More Behind the 8-Ball

I had tasks to do this morning, a radio show this afternoon, and an article that will occupy me in the meantime, along with some published article publicizing. I've got dozens of newslink tips in the inbox, and won't be able to get to most of them.

Sorry, it's just the reality of limited capacity and prioritization.

The following 6 Republican Senators have now all but guaranteed that CHL holders who go too close to a public building will face 5 years in prison. [More]

These weasels calling OFF "despicable" brings to mind a Kurt Hofmann quote.

It Is a Tale Told by an Idiot...

DOJ admits there's little evidence to support Jan. 6 sedition charges - The Department of Justice has since said that a portion of the evidence is not actually quite as damning as was previously believed. [More]

Raining on Their Parade

A so-called “gun buyback” event in Pensacola, Florida did not go according to plan over the weekend, as a local gun club showed up to counteroffer the city by paying actual market value for citizens’ firearms. The only weapons the buyback was able to acquire included BB guns and homemade “Boom Stick 1776” pipe guns, which forced the event to run out of cash in under 30 minutes. [More]

That's funny.

One thing I'd be concerned about is someone selling a stolen weapon.

And None Dare Call It Treason

Biden says he would ‘be flattered’ if migrants are surging because of him [More]

Incentivizing a foreign invasion isn't an impeachable offense? Hell, I'd think the penalties would go way beyond that.

None Dare Call It Treason

In an unjust decision that runs counter to both the precedent-setting Heller and McDonald rulings by the U.S. Supreme Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday ruled that the Second Amendment does not protect an individual right to carry a firearm in public—either openly or concealed. [More

Well, that certainly runs counter to founding intent and makes tyrannical intent clear.

We've talked about George Young before.
