The Better to Smear You With

White House seeks $100 million to help DOJ fight domestic extremism [More]

They sure are trying hard to conflate those who believe in the Bill of Rights and Constitutional limits on government powers with haters, nutjobs, and low-hanging fruit.

With money appropriated from citizens who actually earned it...

If only he'd waited 'til he was on duty...

New Lies for Old

Everybody sees what they did here:
"The gun is functioning exactly the way the military model is in semiautomatic." [Emphasis added]
They're executing Josh's "public confusion" plan nearly flawlessly here. How many MSNBC viewers know (or care) that they're being deliberately manipulated?

You'll Never Get Rich by Diggin' a Ditch

Government records covering the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force show pistols, machine guns, shotguns and automatic assault rifles have vanished from armories, supply warehouses, Navy warships, firing ranges and other places where they were used, stored or transported. These weapons of war disappeared because of unlocked doors, sleeping troops, a surveillance system that didn’t record, break-ins and other security lapses that, until now, have not been publicly reported. Not "because of corruption and incompetence?"

Hey, at least they're inclusive.

Any questions?

Something, Anything...

"People are tired. The resolve, it continues to grow to do something to stop this..." [Watch]

Something must be done!

'Wrong Thinking'

Facebook says it’s “hate speech” to criticize David Chipman and the goals of gun control [More]

What is it The Keeper always says?

Facebook has a series of TV commercials out featuring 20-somethings calling for internet regulations since they haven't changed since they were born in 1996. Among the messages the spots share:

We support updated internet regulations including elections.

Noting what their "fact checkers" disallow on challenges to last November's "results," what do you think they're trying to get the state to circle wagons around?

How curious: "Comments" are turned off.

So much for the mission statement the corporation proffers to induce investors.

I checked out three of their properties at random just to confirm what I knew I would find:

I'm sure he'll have plenty of chances to disillusion Tucker.

'Upholding' a 'Tradition'

The ISRA has decided to not fight a FOID card “enhancement“ bill in the 2020-2021 legislative session in which other gun rights orgs and gun owners in Illinois are opposed to, even the majority of ISRA members. Perhaps we know why.....history. A vote for the bill is set for 6/16/21. [More]

I once had a "prag" try to counter me with two ultimately meaningless platitudes: "The perfect is the enemy of the good" and "Politics is the art of the possible." That presumes preemptive surrender is good and that anyone who won't push the envelope knows what is possible.

For some reason, this seems appropriate:
