Alas, the rush was short-lived. About 20 minutes after the original tweet, Erica tweeted back to her 405 followers, “Oh F***. He’s a POC.” For the record, Erica did not use asterisks, and “POC” is woke shorthand for “person of color.” [More]

A cynical person might say they're hoping for some high-profile martyrs who will evoke sympathetic publicity, ginned-up outrage, legal filings from communist front groups, and "favorable" rulings by Democrat-appointed federal judges.
Good thing this has nothing to do with that "single issue."

VA governor’s race a toss-up; gun owners could swing it [More]
Youngkin hasn't exactly inspired enthusiasm.
McAwful, on the other hand, is relying on ginning up the fear and spooking the herd. That and he's bringing out the big gun.
Who was it who said it's best to avoid the gun issue? Oh, right, Republican campaign advisors. And that's direct from a source who has spoken to Youngkin.

There is a renewed push statewide to make it harder to buy guns as well. Lift Every Voice Oregon is pushing what's called an initiative petition. It requires a certain number of signatures to get on the ballot next November for voters decide. Initiative Petition 17 seeks to change state law and require a gun permit from law enforcement to buy a weapon. Buyers would also need hands-on training. Finally, it would limit the sale and future manufacturing of gun magazines with over 10 rounds. [More]
Actually, they have two petitions. And when those pass Oregon's socialist majority rule, they'll have more.
