    The problem with that story is that it never happened. All government “soldiers” on that island surrendered, none were killed.

    I know full well that the propaganda is flying from both sides, however, I also know the history of Ukraine all the way back to the 1930s, and long before that. Back when the brothers, St. Cyril and St. Methodius brought Christianity to Ukraine and the Rus, including an Alphabet which they didn't have. That's why the Russian alphabet is called Cyrillics.
