Documents? We Don't Got No Documents. We Don't Need No Documents. I Don't Have to Show You Any Stinking Documents!

 A 2018 document outlining requirements for Safe Streets shows a monthly requirement of reports and audits. A 2021 public records request for those documents turned up nothing. [More]

That's because they don't comply with their own rules. That's our job.

Besides, who doesn't think a full-blown audit of Baltimore city government wouldn't end up in messy incompetence and corruption scandals? And then we'd have to blame systemic racism.

    I'll see your Baltimore and raise you one Opa Locka.

    A google search on "opa locka fl corruption" returns 131,000 hits for a city that amounts to a fly speck on the map.
