We're the Only Ones Unclear on the Concept Enough

    Well, not really.

    That is how it is supposed to work. However, all to often the "public facing" part of the government, in this case several LEOs and the department that employs them, failed in their obligation to make sure that "that's how it works."

    When a case arises where law enforcement fails in its duty to uphold the Constitution, it is up to their government superiors to step in and uphold it. However, all too often we see that they do a pretty poor job of it.

    In cases like that, the courts are supposed to step in and make sure that "that's how it works." However, once again, we see all too often that the courts don't do a very good job of upholding the Constitution either.

    In cases were law enforcement, their governmental superiors (enablers?) and the courts all fail to uphold the Constitution, it is up to "We the People" to step in. However......
