And he did it "pro se, without the help of the gun rights organization based in Washington State, (although it was requested)."
Why do you think that is?
This man won a preemption battle on his own, while the "professionals" sat on the sidelines and ignored him. Had he lost, the precedent could have affected their members throughout the state. They knew this and still didn't get involved.
You might want to remember that the next time you get an urgent appeal for donations from one of the "gun rights" groups. Ask 'em why they were AWOL at Ellensburg...

Glad you spotted Fish or Mans post. I was going to email you if you had not...
ReplyDeleteGreat news for Fish or Man but not so good news for our alleged gun rights organizations. I send them money why???
Kirk
It's too bad that when one finds himslef in a position like this, he is really in it by himself.
ReplyDeleteThe alleged "gun rights" organizations will rarely - if ever - help, and most gun owners won't typically bother to support someone in this position with a donation amounting to the cost of a carton of .22 long rifle cartridges.
That he had the moxy to "stick to his guns" and defend this pro se says a hell of a lot about his character.
Good job!
Beware folks. It could be you next.
