A US Tragedy

"I still don't think it makes any sense for all of us to be packing guns in our pocketbooks and our cars," said St. Louis Alderman Lyda Krewson, who was widowed in 1995 by an armed carjacker and who lobbied against the law. "We just have a situation where there are more guns on the street."

And we see how well your way worked, Lyda...

It appears many in the US are not that far behind our UK cousins...

Hey Lyda - ask officer Harrison about his thoughts on the subject.

  2. In Lyda's case, I suspect stupid is genetic.

I'll bet the bank she's also a future candidate for dhimmitude.

  3. "What this city needs is an enema". .... The Joker, played by Jack Nicholson in a dark and dreary movie about Batman.

  4. She added, "I don't think as a public that we are safer or better off."

Well, no, Lyda, the public may not be safer. But a bunch of individuals are.

And if I see you being accosted, Lyda, I'll make sure that I don't intercede on your behalf. My gun is for my, and my family's, safety.

You can call the police for your protection, just like your loved one did.

Remember - To avoid the legal nets, that entangled Bernie Goetz, just shout "HELP, HELP, POLICE" like Kitty Genovese.
