America's most fiery conservative talk show host backing liberal Jerry Brown for California's attorney general?
Yes, it's true.
Michael Savage, the nation's third-most-listened-to radio host (and fourth-most-influential host, according to NewsMax's Top 25 List), confirmed that he recently donated $5,600 – the maximum allowable – to Brown's campaign. [More]
No, it's not all "true". While "conservative" is a relative term based on what it is you're trying to "conserve," the implication in the US is that it refers to someone who believes in the founding principles of the Constitution.
I've long shaken my head in wonder at anyone who could be bamboozled into thinking this bloviating loudmouth is sincere about anything other than self-promotion. I never did see any depth in the guy, but then, what did Mr. Mencken tell us about the American public?
We've seen what Jerry Brown thinks of gun rights. He's basing a large part of his campaign running commercials against them. By donating money to his campaign, Savage has provided aid and comfort to the enemy. He has revealed himself to be the enemy.
Anyone wasting time or money following this obnoxious carnival barker is chasing a sterile queen bee. If you've ever bought one of his books, congratulations. You just helped finance the further enslavement of ourselves and our posterity.
In keeping with radio talk show hosts who bill themselves as "The King of Talk radio", I call Michael Savage "The Crab of Talk Radio"! I sometimes agree with what he says, but he sure is obnoxious!
ReplyDeleteIn all fairness, he very well may have started out as a "conservative". However, success does strange things to people. Most become arrogant, selfish, and greedy. And hence, leave off from the principles they started with. A.K.A. - They become Corrupted. This is what as known as "human nature".
ReplyDeleteOur Constitution has a series of checks and balances to keep corruption bounded. This is done, by combining the laws of nature with the overruling Laws of God. But, since it is given such reckless disregard. Well, we can all see what has and is happening, can't we?
When the laws of God are given reckless disregard, the laws of nature can become quite brutal. Just ask the French aristocrats. Oh wait a minute, you can't....they, (around 40,000 of them), were all beheaded by the guillotine. Looks like you'll have to find somebody else to ask.....
Actually, Savage started out as a far left liberal, then claimed to have seen the light and switched to being a supposed conservation. However, in light of his now backing the Moonbeam, he proves that a leopard cannot change his spots.
