We're the Only Ones Public Enough

Stung by the shooting deaths of two officers outside a western Fairfax County police station in May, county officials want to push the Virginia General Assembly to ban the carrying of guns into law enforcement buildings by anyone other than authorized personnel.
Can't have the public exercising their rights in public building, now, can we?

I mean, they can't be trusted because they're not "The Only Ones"...

  1. First off, when did the police stop being civilians? Are they military? If so, that whole "standing army" thing REALLY is starting to ring true. Also, that raises legal issues. They behave like they're the military, perhaps a good debate topic for another day.

A mentally ill 18 year old...hmmm...what's on that damn form again....

Also, if we're banned from carrying them INTO a building, does that mean that someone qualified can carry them INTO the building, then return them to the owner?
