Since they prohibit the exercise of customers' legal rights that makes their security more likely, the mall must accept the mantle of protection of those customers on a moral plane and should be held accountable by law for their failure to ensure the safety of their customers by not prohibiting the murderer whom they let on the property in violation of mall rules for access.

    That is three failures of the mall and its management. The failure to observe the rights of free citizens, the failure to supply the security they demanded the citizen surrender to their policy, and the failure to enforce their policy universally.

    I hope they are sued into extinction both as a business concern and personally.

    If Utah citizens have any brains at all, the mall will die for lack of customers no matter what.
