Question: What do the local "Only Ones" REALLY think about fellow citizens/law abiding gun owners?Sailor Curt provides the answer. Apparently some friends went to a pizza place, and since it serves beer, they switched from concealed carry to open, as required by law. A patron got his knickers in a wad and called 911, and "The Only Ones" proceeded to harass "The Tony's 7" as only 'The Only Ones" can.
At least in Manassas Virginia.
My favorite part of the first-hand account:
Once outside, one of our party had a copy of the ABC letter explaining the legality of open carry and a copy of the VA State Police web page[Emphasis added--DC]. When approached, one of the group of officers said, "don't come over here and fight us" and that he "didn't need to see our damn letters". His supervisor, wasn't interested in talking either.
"troops"
ReplyDelete"their right to bear arms" in quotes?
assclowns?
Think I'll listen to some Ice-T.
Time to take them to court for denial of civil rights. They can't claim they didn't know. They were informed before they got there that the armed men were within their legal rights.
ReplyDeleteAgain, sue them as a department and as individuals. The department sent them. Individuals have the option to obey and observe the law, these officers chose not to and instead decided to deny civil rights to law abiding citizens. As a criminal matter, if there ever is a DA born with guts he could charge all the officers with ADW, felonious threatening with the added charge of commission of a crime while in possession of a weapon in which the weapon played a crucial role.
Finding a DA with guts is the problem with that. Next best bet is a junkyard dog of a lawyer with no more scruples than the average cop.
