And That Goes Double for Mitt

“Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts,” Romney said, at a bill signing ceremony on July 1 with legislators, sportsmen’s groups and gun safety advocates. “These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”
What I just said about McCain goes double for this flip-flopping fraud.

Sending people to prison based on the imagined intentions of the manufacturer of a product that they possess is arrogant at best, but more likely it's just plain evil.

  2. “Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts,..."

So why do your State Police have them, Mitt?

"They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”

Oh, so that's why your State Police have them.

  3. isn't there a whole doctrine of a WOUNDED soldier taxing the resources of a competing army more than a dead one? In which case the so-called "assault weapons," being identical except a few features, would seem to not operate for the sole purpose of killing people.

I'll overlook the fact that most "assault weapons" are semi-automatic version of military weapons...ones I'd love to hear him argue were not made for defense.

  4. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people. Words they need to remember when the Big Change occurs. Actually, they would do better remembering how to do the "French Mistake".
