Lightworker

Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment.

I'm not quite clear on this: What's the difference between a Lightworker and a Daywalker?

I've said before:

Obama is not a political phenomenon. He's a mystical one. And that ought to scare the hell out of us.
Isn't it telling how those who are overtly hostile to traditional religion embrace their new demigod with the fervor of Luciferian theosophist zealots?

  2. I'm sure he knows ALL the gang hand signs. They're his real constituents.
I have known people on that New Age spiritual path, and some of them have been elitist and extremely selfish ("I'm too EVOLVED to be bound by concepts like loyalty and fidelity.") I have also known such people who had that calm serene centeredness, desire to actually help and teach, and acceptance of others and TOLERANCE. That AIN'T OBAMA. He doesn't have that serenity, but AMBITION. Not balance but CONTROLLED ANGER. I believe his people would do just about anything he asked, and think about it later.

  3. I'm pretty hostile to any religion, but I certainly don't embrace Obama and his "spiritually advanced" persona. Charlatanism is all it is. Most (but not all) people who are susceptible to magical thinking fall into this kind of trap easily. If not Obama; then someone or something else.

Bravo! That's the funniest thing I've read all day.

But, yea, speaking of theosophists, Blavatsky, and such, maybe the Thule Society would be a more fitting match for the Obamites than the cult of Set..

  7. Isn't it amazing how many of these so-called "Lightworkers" still don't grok the wrongness of theft or other violent means to achieve their goals? One would think that'd be one of their first insights if they're as "spiritually attuned" as they make out, along with "Giving away your power to others is wrong mostly because it's dangerous, to both others and you".

You know, in Asia they have the tradition that the teacher demonstrates what he can do before he teaches it. I think Obama's demo so far has told us what we need to know.

And of course, in Morford's case, one suspects that his leftism determines who is or is not "spiritually attuned".

  8. Right you are about who gets designated "attuned"--people of traditional faiths are "coweringly religious."

    Morford said it.
    I believe it.
    That settles it.
