Lock Up Your Safety in the Parking Lot Law Upheld

A federal judge declined on Wednesday to stop Florida's new guns-at-work law from taking effect on Tuesday.
Not that such a law would have helped these victims.

Once the shooting starts, it's kind'a late to go to your car (and yeah, I know about Pearl--I'm talking about for the immediate targets).

The answer, of course, is to not just keep, but to bear.

  1. It's like saying we need a 1st amendment so that a watchdog media can scrutinize government for any unconstitutional behavior- but modems have to be unplugged, and coax/cat5 cables must be stored SEPARATELY, and it's illegal to carry your modem from one room in the house to the other (DC Ban, anyone?) David seems to always say what the rest of us are thinking... how can you neuter the 2nd and then say "see, guns have no place in our world" when those who would misuse them have little fear of immediate resistance?

  3. As I've said before, I carry whenever I have clothes on. I have successfully avoided detection, even though I carry two handguns, a Glock 36 .45 ACP in a Comp-Tac IWB strong-side holster, and a KelTec P3AT .380 in a Nemesis pocket holster. I use CorBon DPX ammo in both, because John Farnam demonstrated to me that it's the best.

My state and my workplace deny my right to carry at work, but I do anyway, and I will accept the consequences if they arise. I allow no one to make life-or-death decisions for me, and I walk the walk.

My trainer said that if you need to carry a gun, you need two. I believe him.
