"Doesn't the Constitution guarantee me the right to have as many guns as I want in my home?
No, of course not. The much misinterpreted Second Amendment to the Constitution does not grant any individual any personal right to ownership or possession of any gun. This is easily shown by the fact that no gun law has ever been struck down in more than 200 years of American history on Second Amendment grounds. Whatever the mythologizing of the gun lobby, the courts have made it clear that the Second Amendment does not speak to any so-called "individual right."
What they're saying is, in 200 years, no cog in the machinery of government power and coercion ever supported people having the means to repair or remove that cog if it "malfunctioned." Well, of course not. That would put that "cog" equal to mere citizens. That's not why people run for office or stand for appointment to judgeships. "The civil servant is like a nail without a head." i.e., impossible to remove. I think Mark Twain said that. True then, true now.
Speaking of housekeeping... A laptop computer with the personal information of 33,000 applicants to the airport security prescreening program CLEAR has been reported stolen from San Francisco International Airport. CLEAR lets people undergo a background check and pay extra to go through the TSA gantlet with fewer questions, dirty looks and chances of being assaulted. They might even let you carry a bottle of water onboard. Imagine. Remember, we're all criminals, just not all of us have done a criminal ACT -- YET. Doesn't this CLEAR thing sound like the gun control lie? I wonder how in-depth the investigation is, and what HomeSec does with the information after you're CLEARed.
Look at the list of people in this group, bottom feeders. These people have never produced anything but paperwork in a rigged system. None of these people have ever build anything that went to market to be sold to willing buyers. What they have done is found a way of scamming the manufactures and buyers alike by getting laws passed so they can legally steal from decent people hard working people. These kinds of people is what is very wrong with America. Scum sucking bottom feeders who would tax the food a baby eats before they would do an honest days work.
Virginia Citizens Defense League's latest alert has a link to a video on LiveLeak. A female convenience store clerk shot in the arm while COOPERATING with a masked robber. As her flesh and blood fall on the counter, the robber orders her to pick up money she dropped. After the shot, she REALIZES, and screams "Oh my God!" God is sitting this one out. her screams continue as she hands over cash after cash. Her execution is edited out so the police could post the video for help in IDing the killer or his car. It was apparently a boring night. The woman was straightening stock on the shelves when Death walked in. CeaseFire and everyone else wanting to take away our self-defense can bite it. No doubt the killer had been in the store before and knew about unarmed employees. That's why he picked that place. I am quivering with rage. There seems to be a lot they don't keep up on:

ReplyDeleteCorrect. It forbids government from passing or enforcing any gun "laws". That's right; it makes gun control illegal. Chew on that, perverts.

The fact that I own firearms and reloading equipment and am willing to use them protects MY right to keep and bear arms.
ReplyDeleteLaws have nothing to do with it unless you let them. Getting time for another Lexington Green if the idiots aren't careful.
Some may die but they will die free men, not in some Federal Prison or Concentration Camp.

True or not true: 98% of Congress is lawyers. Explains a lot.
ReplyDeleteIt demonstrates that no "(redacted) piece of paper" will guarantee on its own the liberties of the citizen. Something more is required.
