A Kentucky sheriff drove 4,100 miles to California to pick up a fugitive, then realized when he got back he had the wrong guy.
Makes you wonder why there's a billion-dollar fingerprint database, doesn't it? Must not be for crime control.
4100 miles from KY to CA? Dang the guy must have become lost and went there by way of Vermont...
