We're the Only Ones Who Really Fracture You Enough

News media released footage showing Mr. Niemeyer restraining the girl, and then leaping upon another student, Joshua Lockett, who was videotaping the incident until he was attacked by security guards trying to take the camera. When Ms. Lockett begged them to let him go, she said, another guard attacked her, fracturing her arm.
Pick up those cake crumbs or I'll break your arm.

It's a question of who's the "Only One" who owns you, and Judge Estes just made that clear.

I'm glad we have that established now.

  1. Misdemeanor battery on a 'public official' and threats...are these sufficient to bar voting and 2A rights for life?

  2. If so, then why settle for a misdemeanor? Make it count.

A like-minded individual who posts here as Anticitizen One knows. In the video game "Half-Life 2," the player is confined in a military-industrial research city. The guards wear full-head gasmasks with night vision at all times. They speak through vocoders that make them sound nonhuman and threatening.
    "Pick up that can."
    "Put it in the trash."
"OK. You can go now. Hmm hmm hmmm," he chuckles. Like a slave, on the Soviet model.
    If you don't, it's the old shock-baton.
You, the player, accumulate weapons and allies and lead a revolt, becoming Anticitizen One to the regime.
Great tactical play. It'll teach you to reload behind cover and watch your backtrail.
    5 out of 5.
I hope they'll let me play it IN PRISON if some school goon ever manhandles my granddaughter.
Were the students defying authority? It doesn't matter. When food crumbs are more important that -- whoa, STUDENT SAFETY! -- it's time to break some eggs.

  3. Handy, don't you think that gathering evidence against an only one is according to that judge illegal. Because boiled down, that is exactly what happened.

I won't say what my reaction would be, but you can be sure there would be no appeal.
