VA Open-Carry Activist Illegally Arrested Again

This is beyond believable but Dan Moore was arrested shortly after leaving Norfolk City Hall this evening. Once again, Norfolk Police illegally arrested Dan, handcuffed him, unlawfully disarmed him, and eventually issued him a citation.

A nearby citizen attempted to film the arrest but was ordered by the Norfolk Police to stop, or else!
I still think some sort of plan would be helpful...in all open carry states where this is a problem.

  1. The JBT of the Marxist elite in action.
These are the actions of goons that are acting in unlawful ways against the citizens.

  2. I used to LOVE Norfolk. Mayor Paul Fraim doesn't love us, though. He has tried -- and may have succeeded by now -- to get gun shows banned from the Norfolk Scope coliseum on the grounds that it's city property. VCDL asks "Can't the mayor control Norfolk PD?"
    He is.
I have not spent a brass farthing inside the city limits since I found out what Fraim is. I get from one side to the other as fast as possible en route to the beach and back. Sorry, favorite restaurants and shops, I don't go where my gun isn't accepted.
I've written to Fraim AND the Norfolk Tourism Bureau. No reply.
There are hundreds of thousands of tourists a year who are fooled into thinking they're welcome. Just the money, baby.

  3. Further details from VCDL: NorfPD seemed to single out BLACK meeting attendees, issuing tickets, but only gave white attendees verbal warnings.
A black man reported he had been challenged while open-carrying on the sidewalk. Since he wasn't driving, he wasn't carrying ID. The cop said since he couldn't prove he owned the handgun, he would confiscate it...
The NAACP must be ready to have a schizoid embolism trying to decide whether to be pro-AfrAm-rights or anti-gun. The ACLU too.
I personally don't think lawsuits are going to change things.
Thank you, VCDL members and supporters, for doing the courageous confronting of arrogant tyrants.

  4. I wonder if displaying in the open in a GROUP would intimidating enough to get the JBTs to pause?? And have a photographer there with an undercover camera. Just a thought.

  5. This is exactly the reason for the Second Amendment. Perhaps a replay of the Athens, Tn. correction of elected officials is going to be necessary.

To all those who don't believe in the second, what say you now? Now that you have seen the lawlessness of the law enforcers?

  6. Go all out and sue the city for harrassment as well as ANOTHER (What is this, the 3rd time??) rights violation.

Next time OCing in Norfolk, do it in a group of 10+ in the area where he was arrested. And for heaven sake DON'T DISARM if stopped by the police -not if you are in a large group.

What are they going to do against 10+ OCers?

    Thugs/PIGS.

  8. Why did the cops stop the filming? I mean, after all, if they weren't doing anything wrong, what have they got to hide...
