We're the Only Ones Waving a Red Flag Enough

Angry police union members chased away MWRA workers in Everett and Revere today citing safety concerns in the first test of the state’s new rules on road details...

Under new rules, a $42-an-hour Everett detail police officer is no longer required on jobs like the one scheduled this morning in Everett.
Because heaven knows, only an "Only One" is capable of waving a flag for roadside workers--the experience of the other 49 states notwithstanding.

Oh look: They're getting more "disruptive". I guess they're used to being instantly obeyed.
“It’s scary,” Anderson said. “When cops become the criminals, who do you call?”
Now that's the problem, isn't it Barbara? Time was, Bostonians would know the answer to that question.

I'm actually checking my natural outrage at the door on this one, and looking forward to some great potential entertainment--particularly as we witness some true character emerge. Maybe we'll even see some good, old-fashioned police work!

  1. LOL! This is a classic case of showing the true mindset of these people. As they break laws do you see other police who are sworn under oath to uphold the state's laws stepping in to arrest to ticket law breakers here? The answer is no.
When these union parasites demand more taxpayer money they force cities to give them more by now writing tickets. Through their union they make it perfectly clear they will not be issuing tickets but for DUI. They willingly refuse to uphold their sworn oath as police officers to the citizens, so help me God. Any lawyer in any case where a cop is going to give testimony should be able to point out to the judge and or jury. That the police officers do not have to be sworn in before testimony because they are under oath. The very same oath they broke when they refused to write tickets and allowing laws to be broken. And broken for money. Fact police have a record of arrest and conviction that helps them in their jobs for advancement. This means more money and more money in retirement. If they break their sworn oath for money during labor contracts they will without question do it anytime. So no police should be able to go in front of any jury if that police force refused to issue tickets as a way of forcing a city to give them the labor contract that they wanted.
    Bottom line: Ruthless parasites.

  2. Newspeak alert!

"Cops say they are better prepared to handle safety emergencies"

Safety emergencies? Is that like when everything is perfectly safe but they still call for "backup" and have an impromptu block party? Or maybe that should be roadblock party..

  3. here's the thing. The governor and Attorney General have photographic evidence of criminal activity by these people. Where are the charges? The feds have access to that same evidence, where are the RICO arrests and charges?

This is exactly the type of thing the Mafia and other criminal gangs have done and was the impetus for the RICO statutes. Though, they haven't been applied properly, there can be no excuse for not applying them now. I don't think there is any question that this particular law enforcement agency is a Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization.

The citizens of Mass should demand action and if they don't get mount a recall election.

  4. Further, these police union members were off duty, therefore they were not enforcing any "safety" standards as police officers. They were interfering with the duties of state workers and barring them from their workplaces illegally.

Next question, how does one go about lodging a complaint or filing information with the proper authorities to take away the excuses for no RICO prosecutions?

Suggestion, if somehow we are informed of the procedure, all of us here should file such information. I will. I invite the rest of you to do the same.

Unless of course, we are afraid to draw attention and have become pragmatic.
