Yeah, I caught that "rule" business before, and it's showed up in some other settings as well.
But for years we've had Bush claiming to be the "Commander-in-Chief of the country," and even though he's supposedly hated by all the MSM nobody ever called him on it that I know of. This isn't an escalation, it's just being honest about their intentions. A rare and precious thing for a politician.

Don't know why he added the rest of the stuff to the question. You say "no", the rest is moot. You say "yes", that right there's the job killer.
