Burress, the police said, did not have a permit to carry a gun in New York City. A law enforcement official said that the gun, a Glock semiautomatic pistol, was recovered at Burress’s home in Totowa, N.J.How did NYC get authority to do that?
And he could still "still face felony charges that could result in up to seven years in prison" even without intent to harm anyone?
Bloomberg and his New York "Only Ones."
Did I mention I don't think we use the term "Nazi" anywhere nearly often enough?
NYC can do that because they have jurisdiction that covers all of the US as noted in the lawsuits against gun dealers.
ReplyDeleteMakes you wonder how far is the far in "One day they're going to go too far."
ReplyDeleteBe nice if Mr. Plexiglass would get up off a few hundred thousand dollars to educate the people that they have the gun rights he obviously believes HE has.
It will be really nice if Mr. Plaxico uses this as an opportunity to sue NYC like Heller sued Washinton.
ReplyDeleteWith the backing of the NRA and powerful libertarian lawyers, the gun-ban paradise of NYC might finally come to an end and the citizens can enjoy their fundamental rights again.
But I doubt Mr. Plaxico is educated about the Second Amendment anymore than Rosie O'Donnell is.
Just heard on Foxnews. Bloomberg is headed to Israel because "he believes Israel has the right to DEFEND ITSELF". Just wow.
ReplyDeleteI still cant find it on the web for a link. Keep an eye out.
