Getting the Nazis the Voters Deserve

Sen. Jenny Oropeza, who has already passed a bill that bans smoking in a car with children, is now trying to extend the ban to the state's parks and beaches.
See, litter laws aren't enough. They never are. If you don't behave in ways we don't approve, well, you'll either bend to our will or we'll ultimately kill you if you defy us hard enough.

And naturally, Jenny doesn't like guns, either.

Oh, and since we're at the beach, all you Godwin's Law nazis (who invariably misinterpret its meaning to discourage use of the term) can go pound sand. The beneficiaries of not calling Nazis Nazis are Nazis, and when you consider the word is derived from "national socialist," I don't think we use it anywhere near enough.

A spade is a Spade,Likewise with the meaning of the word Nazi.

Why call it any other way.

But it hurts the Nazis' feeling to mention what they are.

I completely agree with you on the Godwin's Law thing. It was originally meant only as a descriptive observation. It simply observes that the probability of Nazis being mentioned in any conversation approaches 1 as the conversation goes on. Purely descriptive.

Sometimes, making references to Nazis is the only sensible thing to do if the reference or analogy fits.

In that case, "Neo-Con" = "NAZI"

Either that, or Neo-Con simply means Con job.

Oropeza is most certainly a National Socialist.
If you read history you will find that the Nazis were rabid about health issues.
And look at the 1933 Nazi party platform and see how closely it compares to todays Democratic Party platform. Anti-semitism is the only thing missing.

Nazi is actually a quite widely used term to describe anyone as tyrannical and dangerous.

Caligula can be called Nazi. The Nazis of 1930s, well, they are defintely.

NEO-CONS are modern-day evolved Nazis that are one step higher on the evolution ladder than their predecessors. They have acquired the basic survival skill of camoflage which enables them to blend in with their environment so their potential enemies cannot spot them.
