ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ, Please?

An activist told me he'd approached one of his state groups for help fighting the Bobby Rush bill and was basically met with:
"There are so many against us!? What do we do?"
Any Greek language experts out there who know how to phrase "Come and take them" as a request...?

  2. What do we say . . .

    COWARDS!

    How about:

"Be strong and quit yourselves like men"

Oh, I forget, they are little girls playing dress up and trying to be like daddy.

  4. Ah gee whiz, a week hasn't even passed since some of us have been advised of our ignorance, amorality, mental instability, and refusal to mature.

All because we KNOW what we should do?

Oh fuck! we didn't think anybody knew the answer. Shut up, Hush, be quiet shhhhhhh. I know, I know , let's hide and surrender and call it being practical.

  5. just put it in the optative:

    μολών λάβοις
    (molon labois)

thank goodness people are spelling it with the omega in molon, instead of two omicrons like they used to... drove me nuts

  7. Ancient Greek did not use lower case letters, the first example of which appeared around 835 A.D.
So to maintain authenticity, let's keep MOLON LABE in all upper case, as it would have been in Leonidas's time.
